My son and I actually came all the way from Florida to see Snow Patrol, not Ed Sheeron. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed Snow Patrol and are so glad we went. However, we just wish they had played more songs and gotten more of the recognition they deserve. We especially enjoyed the live version of their new song "Life on Earth".
Ed was terrific at engaging with the audience at all levels. As he even stated himself, he takes his job as an entertainer seriously and does a fantastic job and really seems to enjoy himself on the stage. I was happily surprised to recognize so many of his songs and will make a point of listening to him in the future. He has unparalleled skill as a musician, performer, and a singer. I this event, my take on him is as a "musician's" musician.
